The Marangu Route, often referred to as the "Coca-Cola Route," is the only Kilimanjaro route that offers hut accommodation throughout the climb. This 6-day itinerary provides a comfortable trekking experience while allowing climbers to experience the mountain's diverse landscapes, from lush rainforest to alpine desert and the snow-capped summit of Uhuru Peak.

Day 1
Arrival in Moshi
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your mountain guide for a detailed trek briefing and equipment check before beginning your Kilimanjaro adventure.

Day 2
Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
After breakfast, transfer to Marangu Gate for registration and trek through the lush rainforest. Keep an eye out for colobus monkeys and exotic bird species as you ascend to Mandara Hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Leave the rainforest behind and enter the heath and moorland zone. Enjoy stunning views of Mawenzi Peak and the surrounding landscapes as you continue to Horombo Hut.

Day 4
Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Cross the alpine desert known as the Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic as you reach Kibo Hut, your base camp for the summit attempt.

Day 5
Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut
Begin your summit attempt shortly after midnight. Reach Gilman’s Point before continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement and enjoying spectacular summit views, descend to Horombo Hut for overnight.

Day 6
Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate & Departure
