Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Moshi.
Upon arrival, meet your mountain guide and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Attend a comprehensive trek briefing, equipment inspection, and safety orientation while preparing for your Kilimanjaro adventure. Relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before beginning your climb via the spectacular Lemosho Route.

Day 2 – Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Depart Moshi after breakfast and drive to Lemosho Gate.
Begin your trek through lush rainforest rich with wildlife, towering trees, and diverse bird species. Follow scenic forest trails from Lemosho Gate toward Mti Mkubwa Camp while enjoying fresh mountain air and beautiful natural surroundings on the western slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3 – Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Depart Mti Mkubwa Camp after breakfast and trek to Shira 1 Camp.

Enjoy dramatic volcanic landscapes, unique vegetation, and excellent opportunities for acclimatization while trekking steadily toward Shira 1 Camp beneath Kilimanjaro’s towering peaks.

Day 4 – Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Continue trekking across Shira Plateau to Shira 2 Camp.
Cross the vast Shira Plateau while enjoying spectacular views of Kibo Peak and surrounding valleys. This gradual ascent supports acclimatization and allows trekkers to appreciate Kilimanjaro’s unique volcanic landscapes, open moorlands, and ever-changing scenery before reaching Shira 2 Camp.

Day 5 – Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
Trek to Lava Tower then descend to Barranco Camp.
Ascend toward the impressive Lava Tower at 4,630 meters before descending into Barranco Valley. This important “climb high, sleep low” acclimatization day improves summit success while offering stunning views of glaciers, volcanic formations, and the dramatic landscapes surrounding Barranco Camp.

Day 6 – Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Climb Barranco Wall and continue to Karanga Camp.

Day 7 – Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Depart Karanga Camp after breakfast and trek to Barafu Camp.
Ascend through alpine desert terrain toward Barafu Camp, the final base before summit day. Upon arrival, rest, hydrate, and prepare your equipment for the midnight ascent. Your guides provide a detailed summit briefing while you enjoy early dinner and necessary recovery.

Day 8 – Summit Uhuru Peak & Return to Moshi
Begin midnight summit ascent, descend to Mweka Gate, and transfer to Moshi.
Start your summit attempt shortly after midnight and reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Witness an unforgettable sunrise above the clouds before descending through alpine and rainforest zones to Mweka Gate. Receive your certificate and transfer back to Moshi, celebrating an extraordinary achievement.
